Man Pleads Guilty to Intoxication Manslaughter

BIG SPRING - An Odessa man will spend the next twenty years behind bars for hitting and killing a Midland man.

Howard County District Attorney Hardy Wilkerson says Paul Eugene Henson pleaded guilty to Intoxication Manslaughter Tuesday morning in Howard County.

Henson hit and killed James Simmons of Midland on Interstate 20 west of Big Spring back in April of last year. Simmons was on his motorcycle when he was hit from behind.

Henson fled the scene, but was caught in Sweetwater.
