Waste Control Specialists Gets Waste Permit

ANDREWS - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has issued a permit for the disposal of hazardous waste at the proposed facility in Andrews County.

WCS recently announced the permit.

The company says this is another step forward for the facility. The combination of a hazardous waste permit and the proposed low-level radioactive waste disposal license will allow WCS to dispose of hazardous and radioactive wastes.

The TCEQ issued WCS a draft disposal license on August 12th and the TCEQ will consider issuing a final license on Wednesday.
