MIDLAND - Any future high school football teams that play games at Grande Stadium will have something in common with the Dallas Cowboys.
On Wednesday, construction crews finished up a new renovation turf project and it's the same kind the cowboys use.
City officials say the new turf is the real grass matrix variety.
There's also a blue turf area over the old warning track that will provide safety measures for soccer games.
There's also a new logo for the State of Texas in the middle of the field with a star identifying Midland along with an M.I.S.D. logo and a City of Midland logo.
