Pecos Railyard Right on Track

PECOS - It's a promise of new jobs and growth for Pecos and according to city leaders it might just be the biggest thing to ever roll into town.

A new trans-modal railyard will chug into Pecos and even though energy prices have plummeted it's right on track.

The economic development office tells us the project manager for Montane Logistics will be on site within the next several weeks.

The city is expecting the project to begin in 2010 and take almost a year to build. They're in the process of planning a community briefing about the trans-modal railyard to let folks know how the project will affect the Reeves County area.
