Former Odessa Jailer to Face a Judge on Monday

ODESSA - An Odessa jailer accused of taking bribes from federal prisoners, will face a judge on Monday.

23-year-old Andrew Allen Zehr will be arraigned Monday at Midland County Federal Courthouse.

He's accused of taking 150 dollars to sneak a cell phone into a federal prisoner.

Zehr's also suspected of accepting three hundred dollars in exchange for several bags of marijuana.

Zehr is expected to enter a not guilty plea.

If convicted, he could face up to 20 years behind bars.
