West Texas State Senator Appointed to Crime Victim Advisory Council

AUSTIN - State Senator Kel Seliger has been appointed to the Crime Victim's Institute Advisory Council.

Governor Rick Perry's office made the announcement this week. That council advises the Crime Victim's Institute on the impact on victims, families and society and helps develop policies to prevent victimization of society by crime.

Seliger is the District 31 Texas State Senator. He replaces Senator Kenneth Armbrister on the council.
