BIG SPRING - An Odessa man is behind bars in Big Spring on charges of intoxicated manslaughter.

Paul Eugene Henson turned himself into the Howard County Sheriff's Office on Friday in connection with a mid-April wreck that killed a motorcyclist.

Henson was driving westbound near the 165 mile marker of I-20 when D.P.S. Officials say he struck James Alford Simmons from behind.

Simmons died three days later.

If convicted, Henson faces up to life in prison.
