MIDLAND - More charges for the man accused of shooting and killing another man in a Whataburger parking lot, more than a week ago.

He's now facing more charges and a new bond.

It's now going to take one million dollars for 22-year old Alex Saldana to get out of jail.

According to police, Saldana is the man who opened fire at the Midkiff Whataburger back on November 16th.

Killed in the shooting was 44-year-old Steve Adams who was at the restaurant with his family.

Saldana was arrested shortly after the shooting.

He was originally charged with murder, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Since then, new charges include deadly conduct and two more counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police say Saldana has confessed to firing his gun, but not to killing Adams.
