ODESSA - It's already the giving season for some young students in Odessa.

One Preschool Class at Cumberland Presbyterian walked for their classmate, Caitlyn Cotton.

Caitlyn died from a childhood brain cancer, just five weeks after she had been diagnosed.

The students raised more than $1,200 with the Relay for Life Event on Monday.

The money will go to the American Cancer Society in Caitlyn's memory.

Caitlyn's teacher explained Caitlyn's death by telling the students she got her angel wings and is now watching over them in heaven.
