Preliminary Autopsy Results Released in Odessa Murder

Preliminary autopsy results have been released in the death of Thomas Goodnight.

Goodnight died from 2 shotgun wounds from a 12 gauge shotgun to the neck and chest area.

As NewsWest 9 reported, deputies responded to a 911 call on November 12th in the 5400 block of East Hammett Street where they found that Goodnight had been shot.

Officials are continuing their investigation and officers have some "people of interest" in the case.
