UPDATE: New Details Released Involving Illegal Gambling Raid

ODESSA - More arrests have been made after an illegal gambling sting on Thursday morning.

NewsWest 9 has learned that 14 people were arrested in Thursday's raid. Most were arrested on gambling charges. A few other people were picked up on other warrants.

DPS confirmed to NewsWest9 that the number of arrests had grown from 6 reported arrests on Thursday to 14.

Police arrested Bobby Ainsworth, Robert Babcock, Marivel Hernandez, William Humphries, Phuoc Van Ngo, Billy Russell, Hien Tran, and Ofelia Urgiri.  

All are charged with promoting gambling, running a gambling establishment and having gambling machines.

Ngo faces an additional charge of operating a coin operating machine without a license.

Three other women also face the same charges, Lisa Marie Rodriguez, Robin Browning Tibbetts, and Bess Ann Davis were also busted in the gambling raid.

Bond for each woman has been set at $3,000.

The gaming centers that were raided include Reno Lights on Andrews Highway, Sweepstakes Triple Fun on Grandview, Party Games on east University, and Texas E-Store on east 7th Street.
Authorities tell NewsWest 9 they took 200 video slot machines and other equipment.

All four businesses have been shut down.

Two others were arrested in the raids on outstanding warrants, thier charges did not involve gambling.

The Texas Attorney General's Office requested the raid by DPS investigators.
