Seminole Water Project Moving Forward

SEMINOLE - It has been a long time coming, but folks in Seminole may soon have a new source of drinking water.

State and city leaders have agreed on how to spend the cash for the project which had been a major sticking point. The $1.5 million project takes partially salty water from the Santa Rosa aquifer and uses it for drinking water.

The city hopes to get the project underway within the month. Money from state grants is funding most of the project. The city is picking up the rest of the tab.
