MIDLAND - Midland Police have arrested the woman wanted in connection with a murder back on September 11th.
29-year-old Corina Sifuentes was arrested just after 5:30 on Wednesday at the intersection of Big Spring and Dormard in Midland after a traffic stop was made.
Police tell NewsWest 9 that Sifuentes shot and killed 45-year-old Sylvia Zapata back in September.
Witnesses told Police that Sifuentes entered Zapata's home where a confrontation occurred resulting in Zapata being shot in the chest.
The murder is believed to be the results of an ongoing dispute between Zapata and Sifuentes.
Sifuentes remains behind bars at the Midland County Detention Center.
