Colorado River Municipal Water District Getting New Waste Reuse Program

BIG SPRING - The Colorado River Municipal Water District will be getting a new waste reuse program to save water and electricity.

This program, four years in the making has been through many city councils and it was finalized during this week's Big Spring City Council Meeting

The city also agreed to sell the water district a piece of land that's next to the Colorado River Municipal Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Officials hope that the new plant will be up and running by 2010.
