MIDLAND/ODESSA - A record number of voters are expected to cast their ballot in this year's election. So before you head to the polls we have all your election questions answered.

Preparing for an election like this one starts five months before Election Day.

"It's definitely been bigger we are using all the machines we possibly can," Midland County Elections Administrator Ruth Sloan, said.

Starting Monday, October 20th through Friday, October 31st you can cast your early vote.

"If you vote early, you will still stand in line, but it won't be like it will be on Election Day," Sloan said.

Locations in Midland County for early voting are the Midland Elections Office County Annex, Midland College, and Imperial Shopping Center.

In Ector County, you can cast your early vote at the Courthouse Annex, Lowes Supermarket, Presidential Museum, Odessa College Sports Center, and the MCH Family Health Center.

Volunteers are still needed especially to work a new tool for this election, a phone bank.

"I am getting workers to work a telephone bank and all they have to is look you up on a computer and get you to a polling place and that leaves the staff available for election judges," Sloan said.

Voters will have to cast their vote in their Precinct on November 4th. A list can be found at the Midland and Ector County election website.

"I think this election is going to be the same way no matter how much you prepare, it just going to be pretty crazy," Sloan said.
