Talks Begin on Expanding Transportation Services from Town to Town

WEST TEXAS - West Texans already have several options if they are looking for public transportation around the area.

Wednesday's talks were really focused on expanding services from towns to towns.

Multiple ideas are being talked about right now by many different organizations all part of a Permian Basin Regional Group.

There are two big ideas they are talking about.

One is bus companies like All Aboard America and EZ Rider are talking about providing buses to travel between Midland and Odessa.

The local groups are looking into getting grant money from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The other big idea is creating a multi-modal facility in Fort Stockton.

There are few details right now as to how both of these projects will work because they are still in the beginning phases, but we will continue to update you as we learn more of these expanding services.
