PRESIDIO - The City of Presidio might be getting two roads renamed, all in memory of former County Judge and Marfa Mayor Jay Brisbin Junior.

Brisbin died during the recent flooding crisis in a plane crash, along with the pilot and two International Boundary and Water Commission Commissioners on September 15.

One of the streets would be FM 170 and the portion of US 67 that goes through the city, the two names would be "Veteran's Highway" and "Brisbin Memorial Highway".

The final decision will be taken in the next city council meeting on November 13.
