Midland Police Looking to Fill 21 Openings

MIDLAND - If you've always wanted to be a police officer Saturday may be your lucky day.

The Midland Police Department will be giving potential candidates physical and written tests starting at 9:00 a.m. at the department headquarters.

Candidates need to have at least 60 college hours or a combination of college and relevant work experience.  You'll also need to bring your social security card and identification.

The department is hoping to fill 21 spots for its January police academy.
