ODESSA- The investigation continues into a possible murder/suicide in Odessa. The bodies of Jarret Wesley Weaver, 23, and Kelsei Miller Weaver, 22, were sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy. Investigator Sondra Woolf, Ector County Medical Examiner's Office, pronounced the couple dead just before 6pm, Tuesday.

Police tell Newswest 9, a family member called police around 2:30pm. The family member asked police to check on Kelsei Weaver. Police arrived with firefighters and the manager from the Spanish Oak Apartments. Police eventually forced their way into the apartment to find the couple lying dead of apparent gun shot wounds. Corporal Sherrie Carruth, Public Information Officer with the Odessa Police Department, says it appeared to be a murder suicide.

"I can't believe it," yelled one family member of the victim as she was carried to a car outside the complex on Tuesday afternoon.

Neighbors tell Newswest 9 they heard shots around 10:30 p.m. on Monday Night.

"I was shocked. I am floored by it, that it could happen so close to my door," said one neighbor who wanted to remain anonymous, "They were a quite couple. You very rarely saw them, just going and coming to work that it was it."
