MIDLAND - This weekend's Crossroads marathon is back on, despite President Bush's visit to the Permian Basin.
The President's planned visit to Midland on Saturday had cancelled the marathon, because parts of Highway 191 will be blocked for the President's motorcade.
But Crossroads Church now says the Secret Service has given the marthon the green light to proceed.
Runners will be near the Midland Airport around ten Saturday morning.
The Crossroads marathon is the first Boston-sanctioned race to be held in West Texas.
