PRESIDIO - A newly passed disaster bill includes money to help Presidio get back on its feet.

As you know, parts of the town were inundated with water from the Rio Grande two weeks ago.

The high river level caused several levees in the area to break.

The diaster bill includes almost 38 million dollars for the International Boundry and Water Commission which oversees the levee system.

The money will go to rebuilding levees and preventing future floods.
