ODESSA - The OHS-Permian game is always a big deal in Odessa.
Unfortunately, many of you are going to have to wait until Wednesday to find out, not only if you can get into the stadium to watch the game, but where you get to sit or in some cases even stand.
Lines were forming at Ratliff Stadium as early as Sunday.
In fact, Odessa Police had to ask some people to move their cars because they were blocking traffic.
The odd thing, these people weren't in line for game tickets, they were hoping to get a number. One that would assure hopeful fans a spot in a line to be one of 400 with first dibs on tickets.
On Tuesday at 5:00, these lucky 400 will have first choice of the remaining reserved seats, and standing room only tickets in the north endzone.
Each ticket holder can buy up to 10 tickets each.
If you weren't one of the lucky 400 to get a number on Monday morning, you still have shot at seeing the game.
After those 400 have bought their tickets, anything that's left over, will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday morning, at 8:00 am, you can see about those tickets at the downtown ticket office.
ECISD Spokesperson Mike Adkins says, they will continue to sell tickets to the game until they are all sold.
NewsWest 9 also spoke to the Odessa Police Department and they tell us they will be in full force Friday night, patrolling traffic, making sure everything runs smoothly.
