Two former Midland men accused of planning to disprupt the Republican National Convention now face federal cahrges.

Authorities say the pair made molotov cocktails and planned to use them on police cars.

Investigators found eight of the explosive cocktails in a St Paul, Minnesota home.

An FBI affidavit also claims 23-year-old Bradley Crowder and 22-year-old David McKay stole 35 shields from traffic barrels and put screws in them to use as weapons.
