ODESSA - Four people accused of killing an Odessa man pleaded not guilty to the capital murder of Robert Thornhill, Jr.
21-year-old Derek Elms, 18-year-old Willie Hurst, 19-year-old Heather Mitchell, and 20-year-old Kathleen Newbury all face a minimum of a mandatory life sentence if convicted.
Thornhill disappeared back in May.
Investigators say one of the suspects led them to Thornhill's body in a field northwest of Goldsmith.
No trial date has been set.
