Numerous Drug Trafficking Arrests Made in Lea County

LEA COUNTY, NEW MEXICO - Drug trafficking operations put out of business in New Mexico.

Over the last two weeks, the Lea County Task Force has closed three investigations taking drugs and guns off the streets.

Not only that, they have warrants for more arrests now.

The Lea County Drug Task Force says they confiscated meth, cocaine, prescription pills, drug paraphanelia, and a pistol.

Three people have been arrested and are facing charges from drug trafficking, to probation violation, to a felon in possesion of a gun.

Authorities now have warrants for the arrests of two other suspects.
