MIDLAND - Midland's online school is lending a hand to school districts impacted by Hurricane Ike.
Orion High School educates people all over the u.s, but they're hoping to help communities that were hit the hardest.
They're offering a chance for 200 south Texas students to take online high school classes for free.
"We just felt like there's a need. And we want to, you know, we are Texas-based company and we want to help people around the Country, but we especially want to help people in Texas," Sophia Valdez with Orion High School, said.
The home school must approve the credits, Orion promises to keep all the records and provide each student with an online certified teacher.
