MIDLAND - One man is in custody after threatening the lives of two Citizen on Patrol Officers with a gun at the Summerhill Apartment Complex in Midland.
Sgt. Alfredo Grimaldo with the Midland Police Department tells NewsWest 9 two Citizens on Patrol volunteers were patrolling around the complex when they were confronted by a man with a gun who threatened to kill them.
The two men immediately contacted police.
Police quickly responded to the scene who contacted the suspect, who then ran into an apartment in the complex.
Police were able to contact the suspect inside the apartment who surrendered without incident.
