Odessa Police Searching for Aggravated Robbery Suspect

ODESSA - Odessa Police need your help locating an aggravated robbery suspect.

On Friday afternoon, just after 4:30p.m., a Hispanic male entered the Amigo's store on West County Road, walked behind the counter, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money from the register.

The clerk complied and the suspect fled the scene with an undermined amount of money.

The suspect was last seen in a blue Ford Expedition with tan or faded gold trim striping, traveling westbound on 16th Street from North West County Road.

This suspect is also suspected of attempting to rob the Pronto Check Cashing Place on east 8th Street in Odessa.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20 to 30 years of age, 5'6" with a slim build, wearing dark sunglasses, dark clothing, with a dark cap.  The suspect is also has a strong Spanish accent.

Odessa Police say it is too soon to tell if this is the same suspect who robbed two convenience stores in Midland in the last couple of days.
