ODESSA - After months of renovations and nearly 2.8 million dollars later, Odessa's oldest park now has a new look and new addition.
City officals held a ribbon cutting ceremony on saturday to welcome resdients to the new McKinney Park.
The highlight of course is the new sprayground which dumps 300 gallons worth of water out of an oil derrick design.
Odessa officals say they hope not only residents will enjoy the park, but also hope to attract more people to stop by and take a look.
In addition, members of the Odessa Parks Foundation made a donation and announced the next step in improving McKinney Park.
Soon, work will begin on adding a second playground with swings and other fun items for kids.
