MIDLAND - Three million dollars, that's the goal for the United Way of Midland.

The non-profit group kicked off their "Live United" campaign Thursday morning in downtown Midland.

City and community leaders began by sharing what it means to "Live United," and to encourage Midlanders to donate.

With an economy as strong as ours, it may be hard to imagine, but the United Way says the community's help is needed more than ever.

The fundraising campaign runs through November 15th.

The United Way of Midland provides money to 56 local health and human service providers.
