Fire Burns Empty Odessa House

ODESSA - Odessa fire investigators are sifting through clues trying to figure out who set an empty house of fire early Thursday morning.

The blaze broke out around 2:00 a.m. in the 800 block of East 14th Street. According to the Fire Marshal's Office, the house was open and not secured.

Witnesses told investigators no one had lived there for at least a year. There was substantial fire damage to the living room and the rest of the home had major smoke and heat damage.      No one was hurt.
