MIDLAND/ODESSA - This year's Tax Free Weekend is the last one for a couple of West Texas stores.

Mervyn's announced this week that it's closing the doors to its Midland and Odessa locations after several years of serving the community shoppers.

The California-based company is closing 26 stores Nationwide as part of a reorganization plan.
