Last week, the FBI served search warrants on McLaughlin's home and office.
Two days later, a federal judge issued an arrest warrant after investigators found videos of young boys performing sexual acts.
According the U.S. Attorneys Office, the investigation is ongoing and the FBI continues to examine evidence taken from McLaughlin's computers.
