MIDLAND - Two Presidents, two Governors, two First Ladies.

It's a pretty extensive resume for the Bush family.

But on Wednesday, West Texans honored another achievement, a new historical landmark.

On Wednesday afternoon, officials dubbed the George W. Bush Childhood Home a recorded landmark, because of its history and architecture.

House Speaker Tom Craddick made an appearance as well as Midland Judge Mike Bradford.

With the new honor, Midland officials say the presidential site is worthy of preservation.

The local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution donated money for the historical marker.
