A change in direction at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center means some 80 Texas Counties are going to have to find a new medical examiner by next year, including some counties right here in the Basin.
The school has decided autopsies and forensic don't mesh with the school's mission and was ending their contract to run the Lubbock County Medical Examiner's Office.
