City of Midland Sees Another Increase in Sales Tax Revenues

MIDLAND - Another month, another increase in sales tax revenues for the City of Midland.

The Tall City collected 2.7 million dollars in August.

That's 28 percent more than in August of 2007.

This is the 59th consecutive month that Midland has seen more sales tax revenue compared with the same month of the previous year.

It takes two months for sales tax income to become sales tax revenue.

The figures from August are based on June's sales.
