Former Big Spring Superintendent Michael Downes will head to Austin for a T.E.A. Hearing scheduled for Nov. 4th.
The State pinned down the date after the legal team spent months building their case.
Downes has been under review since 2007 for alleged misconduct with a student in the Panhandle more than a decade ago.
Downes resigned from his position back in May.
District officials said the investigation proved too distracting for Big Spring schools and students.
