RUIDOSO, NEW MEXICO - Environmental officials in New Mexico have lifted boil water advisories for most water systems in the Ruidoso area.

The advisories were a precaution against the flash flooding that contaminated the systems last weekend.

State officials have now lifted the order after disinfecting the water.

The water in most systems near Lincoln County now meet the requirements of safe drinking water, but the order is still in effect for some RV parks.
