COAHOMA - When kids go back to school for the fall semester in Coahoma school construction won't be complete but it will be far enough along that it won't hold up classes.
That's according to the Interim Superintendent.
Wayne Mitchell tells NewsWest Nine, construction crews say they will be ready when the students return on August 25th, but it will still be a while before the school bond project is all wrapped up.
Some concerns were raised about the progress work crews were making, and there were some fears the buildings wouldn't be ready in time.
Mitchell says while the work is going slower than they had hoped, classes should be ready to go when school starts.
