Federal Grand Jury Indicts Two Women Over Drug Overdose Death

A drug overdose that claimed the life of a 21-year-old Midland man back in april has led to two grand jury indictments.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 46-year-old Tiofila Santellana and 22-year-old Emily Micah Suckarieh face federal narcotics charges.

A federal grand jury indicted the two Midland women for allegedly distributing controlled substances.

You may recall, 21-year-old Brandon Moore was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for a drug overdose, but he never regained consciousness that night.

Authorities say the women were distributing Methodone and Xanax.

If convicted, Santellana faces 20 years to life while Suckarieh could face four years in prison.
