ODESSA - He's accused of supplying the weapon that killed an Odessa man.

Now, he's plead guilty to murder.

Johnnie Oranday admitted his guilt in court on Wednesday.

He's the 3rd person going to jail for the murder of Adrian Garza.

Garza was shot and killed at a party in Odessa two years ago.

District Attorney Bobby Bland says there was a realistic chance Oranday may have walked if it went to trial.

Bland wanted the courts to hold Oranday accountable for supplying the murder weapon, but he's satisfied with the plea.

The other two involved in the murder, Naomi Lee Alva and Jesse McGinnis have already been convicted in court.

They received life sentences.
