ODESSA - ONCOR crews busy repairing a utility pole in Odessa after a late night car crash sent it tumbling to the ground.
Odessa Police say a man was driving eastbound on 42nd when he crouched down to pick something up from the floorboard of his car.
The man say he lowered his eyes from the road for just a second, but it was long enough for his car to swerve off the road, hit a utility pole, and hit into a parked car.
Police say no one was injured in the crash.
ONCOR officials say no residents lost power as a result of the downed utility pole, but street lights were out between Grandview and Andrews Highway.
