MONAHANS - Two Odessa residents are dead after a three car accident just south of Monahans.
State troopers say it happened Saturday night around ten.
That's when 63-year-old Oscar Torres, SR. was driving east on 1776 when he tried to turn onto Highway 18.
Troopers say Torres disregarded the stop sign and was hit by the driver of a Kentworth tractor.
The driver of the tractor, then tried to help by pulling the passenger out of the truck.
That's when another pickup heading southbound on Highway 18 hit the passsenger already injured in the road.
Judge Greg Holly pronounced Oscar Torres and 21-year-old Jeremy Torres dead on the scene at 10:30.
Because the tractor was carring a tanker, HAZMAT was called to the scene, but there was no danger to anyone else in the area.
