MIDLAND - The City of Midland is getting some much needed work done on roads throughout the city.

Currently, there are 170 unpaved roads in the City of Midland and the City Council has a plan to get this problem fixed.

For the next 14 years, the City will spend 1.5 million dollars annually on fixing those roads in south and southwest, west and northwest Midland.

About 56 of those will only need repaving and drainage development while the other 114 need to be paved as well as drainage development.
