High Speed Accident in Dallas Kills Former Midland Teacher

DALLAS - A former Midland teacher is dead, after a 4th of July wreck on a busy Dallas freeway.

Dallas police say 37-year old Eduardi Loera was killed late Friday when the car he was driving was clipped by a speeding driver.

Loera lost control, and slammed into an 18-wheeler.

He died at the scene.

Police have arrested a Rowlett man, 40-year-old Robert Taylor, and charged him with intoxication manslaughter.

His bond has been set at $50,000.
