Odessa Police Searching for Driver Involved in Weekend Hit and Run

ODESSA - The Odessa Police Department is looking for help finding the driver from a weekend hit and run that caused a pregnant woman to lose her baby.

It happened Saturday night between eight and nine, near 10th and Dixie.

According to police, the woman was riding a bicycle along Maple when she was hit.

Witnesses say the truck sped off.

The woman hurt in the accident tells NewsWest Nine, she suffered several injuries including broken ribs and a punctured lung.

She also miscarried.

A 2004 dark blue Chevrolet pick-up with a long bed and damage on the right side.
