MIDLAND COUNTY - New details on a head-on crash that happened late Thursday night in Midland County.

State troopers have charged the driver they say caused the crash with DWI.

Two trucks slammed head-on on Highway 1788, about 2 miles North of 191.

Troopers tell NewsWest 9, the driver of a blue truck, 42-year-old Susan Mitchell Johnson of Midland, crossed the median, and hit the other truck.

She was the only one in the truck, and has been charged with DWI.

The white truck she hit had 3 people inside.

52-year-old Tom Selman of Midland was driving.

His passengers were his wife, 54-year-old Juanita Selman, and 58-year-old Edward Griswold also of Midland.

Troopers say one person had to be cut out with the jaws of life.

All four were taken to the hospital, two were flown to Lubbock.

No word on their conditions, but troopers say everyone's injuries appeared to be very serious, except for Tom Delman, who was still alert and talking.
