MIDLAND- The alleged murder happened in a quiet neighborhood close to Loop 250 just a couple of blocks from Midland Park Mall. The area is so use to peace and quiet that some residents did not even know what happened until we started asking questions.

"Oh heavens no, we have lived here for over thirty years and nothing like this has never happened before," Bob Herell, neighbor, said.

Bob Herell's house is located behind the ally where Karen Isbell allegedly shot Robert Cain three times. But Herell says last night he didn't hear anything.

"Well our house is sealed up and I can barely hear rain or thunder," Herell said.

Neighbors say Isbell moved into the area couple of months ago and they never had any complaints or problems with her. Harell says he's never seen anything like this in his calm neighborhood.

"Oh, it's as quiet as it can be, we even hardly know our neighbors, but it's quite no one fools any one else and nothing unusual ever happens," Herell said.

Herell also says he is not worried this devastating event will impact the neighborhood in a negative way.

"No I don't think so, I think it's very unusual to happen and I don't think it will bother us at all," Harell said.

The body of Robert Cain is being transported to Tarrant County for an autopsy. Midland police say the investigation is still ongoing.
