The Big Spring Rodeo bowl is located just South of the junction of FM 700 and Business 20, West.
The Rodeo parade is set for Thursday, June 19th at 5:30 PM. It begins at 9th and Main Streets. Contact the Big Spring Herald (432-263-7331) for additional Parade information and float entry. Mutton Busting has an entry fee of $20 per child. Contact Diane Hofacket to register your child. Space is limited and is filled on a first come, first served basis.
Rodeo producer is Carr Pro Rodeo.
Tommy Lucia is the specialty act and has been the opening act for the National Finals Rodeo seven times. He brings Whiplash, a Capuchin monkey, Scottish dogs and a black thoroughbred as part of the entertainment.
Mike Mathis will again announce the rodeo from horseback.
The Grand entry begins at 8 PM. Gates open at 7 PM.
Three dances are scheduled for the week. On Thursday night, Jody Nix and the Texas Cowboys will play in the Fair Barn. Admission is free with a rodeo ticket on Thursday.
Clear Water plays on Friday night. The admission is $10 per person.
Headliner Cory Morrow entertains on Saturday night. Tickets for this event are $20 per person.
