MIDLAND - More power problems for Midland after a transformer exploded on the south side.
It had nothing to do with Tuesday night's storms.
It happened right around 12:30 near Fairgrounds Road and Garden City Highway.
After the transformer blew, the power pole caught fire.
Authorities had to divert traffic for about an hour while fire crews took care of the flames.
